Mental Health And Well Being

Suitable For:

  • Line Managers
  • Anyone responsible for staff wellbeing
  • Anyone who wants to increase their awareness of Mental Health and Wellbeing

The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005, the Human Rights Act 1998, the Equality Act 2010, The Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013, The Health & Social Care Act 2012, The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999 all converge to underscore the legal duty of employers to do all they can reasonably do to support the health, safety, and well-being of their employees.

Not all employers realise that the law requires them to assess the risk of work-related stress
and take action based on their findings.
